New January 2010:

The Pruner’s Bible - A Step- By-Step Guide to Pruning every Plant in Your Garden

Steve Bradley provides instruction and illustrations on pruning seventy popular landscape plants. He takes the mystery out of pruning and provides clear guidance on making proper cuts. In the special features section there are directions for pollarding, coppicing and pleaching trees and shrubs just to name a few of the techniques reviewed. Informative charts summarize how and when to prune at a glance. A great reference book for your pruning needs.

The Shade Garden – Shade-Loving Plants for Year-Round Interest

Beth Chatto world renowned gardener and garden writer describes the development of her woodland garden. She introduces the shade tolerant plants on a seasonal basis.

One of our garden club members read the book from front to back and said it was like sitting having a cup of tea with Beth.

Put your feet up and let Beth inspire you.
